Whether you’re planning a Scottish voyage or looking for a single experience during a charter, we work with yacht owners, captains, crew and agents to explore what’s possible along the way. Our local knowledge and estate relationships open up opportunities ashore, helping you shape your itinerary around the people and places that make Scotland special.
A family learning to forage together, a keen freediver exploring the coast, or guests heading ashore for a day of stalking and an open-fire lunch. We take the lead from your brief, tailoring each experience to guests’ interests, abilities and preferred pace, with discretion throughout.
Our Collective brings together specialists with a deep knowledge of their craft and the landscapes they work in. They can join your yacht for part of the voyage or meet you at selected points along the route. From gathering wild ingredients with your chef to high lining a sea stack or spending a night in a remote island bothy, we bring the knowledge, equipment and personal approach to make it possible.
You have one point of contact at RVIVAL to bring together our team of specialists, estate access, equipment, shoreside transport and any dining or overnight stays ashore. We work closely with your captain and crew around the yacht’s schedule and landing arrangements, adapting to weather and changing plans so each experience fits naturally into the wider voyage.

Every visit brings income to our partners, supporting estate diversification and helping keep local skills and knowledge alive.

EXAMPLE ITINERARY
Inner Hebrides Island | 3-night escape | Based around the Land & Coast
Ahead of arrival, we can detail anchorage options in line with the forecast. There are a selection of anchorage options for northerly, easterly and westerly wind directions.
If conditions allow, we recommend arriving the day before the experience begins.
Upon departure, we are here to assist with hauling anchor and further experience delivery and logistic support in Scotland.
Upon arrival at the anchorage just off the uninhabited island, we’ll gear up and set off aboard a private boat, with a picnic lunch to enjoy on the water. As we explore the wild coastal waters, you’ll learn to set creels for crab and lobster, and fishing for mackerel, gathering ingredients for your evening feast.
The evening brings a hands-on wild cookery experience at a rustic, off-grid bothy, a short tender ride from the anchorage. Guided by our chefs, you’ll prepare your catch and transform it into a seafood dining experience, before heading back to your boat for the evening.
After a nourishing breakfast on board, with expedition bags packed, we’ll set off into the island’s ancient woodland, where you’ll spend the day with a traditional skills specialist, learning the knowledge and age-old techniques that once helped sustain those who lived and worked in these remote landscapes.
The day is hands-on, with the opportunity to learn traditional skills including net making, foraging, natural navigation, tracking wild boar and red deer, and primitive fire lighting. Along the way, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the woodland and the resources it provides.
As evening falls, return to the bothy to prepare dinner using traditional cooking methods, including hot smoking and underground ovens, before gathering around the fire to share stories, a dram and settle in for the night off-grid.
Begin the day with an optional sea dip or snorkel, followed by a hearty breakfast in the bothy, before setting out on a guided hike across the island. Along the way, your guide will share their knowledge of its plants and wildlife, alongside stories of the people who have lived here and on the surrounding islands.
The route takes you through varied terrain and opens up views across the sea, offering a deeper understanding of how the land, sea and changing seasons have shaped island life over generations.
For those who wish to add a little more adventure, join our remote ropes specialist* to abseil down the high cliffs on the island’s western side and into a whisky smuggler’s cave. Here, enjoy a dram before a boat collects you.
On the third evening, we’ll head to a neighbouring island to enjoy time in a seafront sauna, followed by a celebratory meal in an observatory overlooking the coast and surrounding islands.
A slower morning on the island gives you time to enjoy the surroundings before heading home or on to your next adventure.
Take a final swim, walk the coastline or simply find a quiet spot to sit and take in the views. After a relaxed morning and a final breakfast together, we’ll say goodbye, bringing your adventure to a close.
