A World Away From It All

Monachyle Mhor Hotel sits in the heart of The Trossachs National Park - peaceful, remote, and surrounded by some of Scotland’s most spectacular landscapes. Nestled between two lochs and framed by five Munros right on the doorstep, it feels a world away - yet it’s only a few hours from both Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Chef & Owner Tom Lewis, a proud Food and Drink Ambassador for Scotland, runs the hotel with wife Lisa May Lewis and brother Dick Lewis. Their focus is on honest hospitality and proper food - seasonal, thoughtful, and as farm-to-fork as it gets. Much of what’s served comes straight from the family farm, the kitchen garden, the surrounding hills, or within a 30-mile radius.

The hotel itself is full of character, each room individually designed, balancing comfort with personality. Step outside and you’re in a natural playground. That’s where RVIVAL comes in: together, we offer bespoke outdoor experiences that get you into the wild from cold-water swimming and foraging to guided hikes and survival skills, all led by our team of specialists.
